NYS Women, Inc. has signed on in the effort to get passed the “New York Salary History Legislation” (A.2040C/S.6737A). As part of these efforts, the Erie County Commission on the Status of Women will be holding a press conference on Pay Equity Day, which is Tuesday, April 10, 2018.

Achievements Through Mentoring: The Woman's Role

Danise C. Wilson, MPH is a lifelong resident of Buffalo, NY and has committed the last 20 years to the enhancement and enrichment of her community through outreach and mentorship. Mrs. Wilson is a graduate of the Buffalo Public School system, Daemen College, and the University at Buffalo, Masters of Public Health degree program. Her education and experience in Program Management, Community Engagement and Human Resource Management has allowed her to develop, manage and implement innovative statewide programs focused on increasing the diversity and number of health and STEM professionals in under served urban and rural communities.
